The discovery of those two planets just goes to show us how there's still so much out there that's unexplored. And love that vid of the walking Easter Island statue...heehee...

ReplyDeleteThese new planets - were they found in solar system? Dwarf ones ?
I learnt that there are nine planets, even hindu mythology suggest only 9 planets but they included sun and moon as planets too :), so stay upto date I checked latest articles and I was teaching my kids only 8 planets and as far as they know Pluto is Mickey's dog and in their daycare they are teaching again 9 planets. I really dont know, I always considered my mom as ultimate idiot and pledged that I wont become one, looks like I maynt have a choice. :)
I'd bet people used to weave ropes and I'm convinced that's how they did it in BC. The new planets were found in our galaxy 1,200 miles away orbiting a near by star; I grew up thinking pluto was a planet but you can't argue with science
